AK 47 described history and structure

The AK-47, or Avtomat Kalashnikova model 47, is a Russian assault rifle developed in 1947 by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is one of the most widely produced firearms in history, with over 75 million AK-47s produced as of 2017.
The AK-47 was designed to be a reliable and simple to use weapon that could fire a large cartridge in full-automatic mode. It was designed to be lightweight, easy to handle and maintain, and able to withstand harsh conditions. The weapon is made of stamped steel and is gas-operated, with a rotating bolt. The magazine is located in the front of the gun and can hold up to 30 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition.
The AK-47 has been used by military forces, guerilla groups, and terrorists around the world as a reliable and effective weapon. It has become an iconic symbol of anti-establishment and revolutionary movements and is often used as a symbol of power and strength.

The AK-47 has been the subject of numerous modifications, including the AKM (modernized version of the original AK-47), the AK-74 (chambered in 5.45x39mm ammunition), the AKS-74U (also known as the “Krinkov”), and the AK-100 series (an updated version of the AK-47).Despite its age, the AK-47 is still in wide use today and is favored by many militaries, paramilitary forces, and non-state actors around the world.
